I was born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. I have tired many different jobs in my short life span until at age sixteen I decided one day what the hay I will give carpentry a try. Carpentry like any other career in your life is difficult in the beginning but you always have to be open to new challenges and set new goals. I become to love the work I was doing. I love the way people feel about their project when I am complete. The word you express at the end of my contract make me the person I am today.
I am I have three children and a beautiful wife. I have worked very hard to get to where I am today and know what I know from having great teachers through my life. I had first started looking into and getting a feeling for this work when I was 16 years old. I listened to alot of people and I was taught several different ways to complete my job and there was one man I will never forget whom to this day I take his words of wisdom into my work and it became the heart and sole of the project at hand. Always believe in yourself and you will succeed to levels beyond your belief.
I still to this day look at myself as a learner and a teacher as there are still many of new skills that arise. Learning to cope with difficult sites, poor weather conditions and adapting to different styles of construction from past to present helps you with proper planning and safety for the task at hand. These values became a foundation for my dedication to completing the job in a professional and courteous manner.
Its is extremely gratifying to see the customers ideas and enthuiasm, the various contractors professionalism and experience all culminate from a thought to a finish project that all can be proud of.
